The PAA has a long tradition of supporting and honoring our Veterans. Veterans who have served for the United States and Greek military including the Battle of Crete.  To honor this long-standing tradition and to recognize our Veterans appropriately, we have developed the form below that all of our PAA members should fill out for themselves and for those who are no longer with us, the brave men and women who served.

A Challenge Coin is a specially minted medallion bearing the unique emblem of a military unit, organization, or historic event. Deeply rooted in American military history, it is traditionally used to authenticate membership, acknowledge excellence, and foster esprit de corps among those who have served.

In keeping this time-honored tradition, the PAA presented a Challenge Coin during the 49th PAA National Convention to members with military service. Typically presented by a military leader, receiving a Challenge Coin is a prestigious honor that recognizes outstanding service and excellence while celebrating the bond between our Cretan roots and military devotion. The PAA is fully committed to carrying this new tradition forward, and will continue to honor members with military service at future events.
