On behalf of the PAA Cultural Fund, dancers will have their housing, food, and transportation paid for in full for the week July 23-26 during the World Council of Cretans Conference in Crete.
As we will be performing with groups from all over the world, we are looking to form an experienced dance group. What we mean by "experienced" is not that you have to be a professional dancer, but you must apply and be selected by a panel of judges. We are looking for 10-12 dancers (5-6 men, and 5-6 women) that are between the ages of 18-26. The two requirements for dancers is that you must attend 1) the 2026 PYA Conference in Austin, TX (May 28-31) to practice and perform and 2) be in Chania for the main performance (July 23-26).

This includes uploading two 1-2 minute videos of you dancing with figoures. Guys must submit one video of Pentozalis and one of Syrtos. Women must submit one video of Maleviziotikos and one of Syrtos.
