The PAA has embarked on a new, urgent and bold fundraising campaign to raise $75,000 in support of mental health and elder care for the well-being of Crete’s seniors and families living with dementia.
The funds will assist in the relocation of the Alzheimer’s Day Center to a building owned by the Holy Metropolis of Kydonia and Apokoronas, located adjacent to the General Hospital of Chania, and will help ensure that the facility is fully renovated and ready for immediate use.
The Association is honored to collaborate closely with the philanthropic organization “Synanthropos” (Συνάνθρωπος) whose local network of volunteers and supporters is playing a vital role in advancing this effort. Their partnership embodies the spirit of unity and compassion that defines both our Cretan heritage and our global community.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the people living with Alzheimers and those who care for them every moment of every day.
