Great things are done by a series of small things brought together

This year, in conjunction with the Pancretan Youth, the PAA's Giving Tuesday will be raising funds for Panagia Kaliviani Orphanage (PKO) located near the town of Mires, and close to Heraklion, Crete.  And thanks to a generous anonymous donation, we have received a $1500.00 challenge match that will double your donation up to $1500.00!  

PKO is committed to providing care, education, and support for girls aged approximately 3 to 18, within a self-sustaining all-girls orphanage and associated monastery in the mountainous region south of Heraklion.  PKO's philosophy may be simple but very powerful:  Helping One Child in Need At A Time.

The PYA is aligning with PKO's current stated needs: facility maintenance (e.g., renovations, new paint), essential equipment (e.g., a dishwasher), and basic needs (e.g., school supplies, wedding expenses, medical visits) so the children can grow and succeed. Our goal is to raise awareness and resources across all PAA/PYA chapters nationwide.
